Pathology Extraction User Manual
Upload, extract, review, approve, and export structured pathology data.
1. Upload reports
Use Upload Report for one PDF or text report, or Bulk Upload for a batch. Duplicate files are rejected using their SHA-256 content hash.
2. Run extraction
The configured language model extracts data against the pathology JSON schema. Missing, conflicting, and uncertain findings remain visible for review.
3. Review and correct
Compare structured findings with the report text. Corrections are stored separately from the original model output and recorded in revision history.
4. Approve and export
Approve only after clinical verification. Use Export Data to select fields and produce an Excel workbook.
5. Administration
Administrators manage users, roles, pathology prompts, and the extraction provider. Use a local or institutionally approved service whenever reports contain protected health information.
